简介：IL28B polymorphism is strongly associated with treatment response to peginterferon (pegIFN) and ribavirin (RBV) in patients chronically infected with genotype 1 HCV. Although the mechanism remains unclear， this occurs as a result of improved viral kinetics in the setting of the good response variant.
