简介：20-40% of CHB patients with PNAL regardless of HBeAg status or viral load levels had significant histological findings including inflammation and fibrosis. Liver biopsy should be considered in CHB patients with PNAL and detectable viral load, especially in those older than age 45 yrs and higher ALT within 0.5～1 × ULN.
